The different plated finishes are used for many different reasons, however, there has been limited information in the industry for how these finishes can impact circuit performance at millimeter-wave frequencies. This video shows an overview of multiple studies, where many different final plated finishes were evaluated for RF performance at millimeter-wave frequencies.
