This demo uses a custom OFDM waveform to perform range-Doppler processing on a simulated target of interest. Under MATLAB® control, a USRP™ X410 radio transmits the signal in a loopback mode, where an FPGA on the X410 emulates a radar target. Signal captures are based on energy detection of the OFDM signal. Upon reception, the signal is returned to MATLAB for bistatic range-Doppler processing. Visualizations showing target motion and subsequent range-Doppler results yield insights into the quality of the algorithm.
